Bigger in the US?

You know the saying, "Everything's bigger in Texas", right?

Well I have a feeling that here that saying is "Everything is bigger in the US."

Here is the American sized toast we purchased.

Here's the comparison to the bread we typically buy.


Wow.

Yup. When I taught English, my European students were always astounded at huge American portions (and the corresponding size of Americans).

Bigger isn't always bad. Especially when it comes to personal space.

Lisa- I'm finding that as well. Everything, and I guess everything, seems to be bigger!
