Update

The test on my bladder infection came back okay. I was told to drink more water though. Easier said than done when water makes you nauseous. A friend suggested trying lemon water (or lime, orange, or cucumber) to flavor it a bit. I think it just might work!

Other than that, I've been trudging along. Trying to rest and eat as much as possible. It gets old though. I'm tired of eating. And sometimes the wave of nausea just comes out of nowhere no matter what I do.

I'm pretty sure I'm having another girl. That, or I just don't handle pregnangy hormones very well. Brian isn't convinced yet but he swears he doesn't care if we have a girl or boy. I think he is secretly hoping for a boy. :-)

We unfortunately don't have any trips planned. Right now we are just trying to get through each day and make sure everyone is taken care of. We've done little trips to friend's houses or to the playground. And Brian has taken Marion to Planeta Magic the past two Sundays with friends. She loves that outing!

So, this has become the norm for now. I'm going to try not to post anymore on the topic unless something big happens- I'm hoping that something big is that I feel a ton better! I don't want this blog to turn into a morning sickness pity party!

My mother was sick throughout her pregnacy with my brother. She had lost weight by the time he was born. With me she took a pill to keep it all down that was later taken off the market because it could hurt the baby...perhaps, that is what happened to me? :)

I really hope you feel better soon.

Do you know Jessica at Balancing Everything. She is currently pregnant and is going through the same thing that you are...she has with all of her pregnancies...I think this is her fourth.

Pumpkin- I will tell Brian that there is still hope for a boy! ;-)

And thanks for the link, I do not know that blog. She's had problems with all her pregnancies??? Oh wow, that is horrible! I would like 4 kids but every pregnancy makes me pause and rethink it, glad to hear she was able to tough it out. I will definitely check out her blog!

Ugh, sorry. That sounds awful. Can you drink sparkling water? Or lemon-flavored? Or Ginger Ale mixed in with water?

Sorry Megs. Love Lisa's suggestion for ginger ale...hopefully could calm your tummy.

Hang in there. I'll be there in 2 wks....yea.

Love you tons,
Mom

Two things that helped me get through my recent nausea/morning sickness: lemon flavored water (they sell bottled lemon juice in the baking section) and "Saltines" which are called 'Gran Pavesi' at Migros. As long as I constantly ate them, I didn't get sick. Sometimes even with some of Migros' chunky peanut butter on top for a little protein. And lots of instant soups with toast for lunch. It's about all I could stomach! I hope you feel better soon!! -Stacy, 14 weeks... :-)
